This is day one of my blog and my entry into the Blogosphere. I am hoping that my fellow members in the blogosphere world will be my colleagues in helping me to build something from what is really just a germ of an idea right now.
There are 3 recent things that have brought me to this point:
- Oh my God – some of my closest friends have actually retired.
- I was inspired by an article in Newsweek –here’s the first two lines of that article. “Working yourself to death used to be the lot of the laboring masses. Now it is the ultimate luxury of the ultra-rich”. And, “Paul McCartney says he won’t get out of the way for a new generation”.
- A cash mob was recently started right here in little old Portland Maine.
